    Two comments:

    1) These are also helpful for locals who get lost easily.

    2) Why aren’t your photos in order? I see you have 4 but this is number 57?

    @Alli Rense:

    1) The distinction between locals and tourists in DC is about as muddy as it gets anywhere in the US. Having lived here for several years doesn’t necessarily make you a local. After all, the city was supposedly designed to confuse invading armies.

    2) The numbers are always randomly assigned as I take the pictures. By the time I reach 100, it’ll be time to move.
